Ana Bath SS5450CBN 5 Inch 5 Function Handheld Shower and Showerhead Combo Shower System, PVD Brushed Nickel Finish

Before buying this combo shower, I was using Kohler's fixed showerhead. It worked ok for the first couple months but then the spray started to go across each other as I thought the water was not that pure in our area and our family also thought it was so inconvenient to use the fixed showerhead. So, we decided to buy a dual shower set to replace our old one.
It was so stressful when doing the research as there are hundreds of showers throughout the market. Finally, there were 4 brands left in my list, Peerless, Delta, Waterpik, and Ana Bath. First, I deleted Delta product because I thought it was unnecessary to spend about 50 bucks or even 100 bucks more for the same function of shower. One of my friends also told me that they are now buying products from China as the other shower companies do. So, it makes no sense if others can sell 50 bucks but they sell 90 or 120. Second, I took Waterpik out of my list because they only have one combo shower and with the uncomfortable less than 3 star of customer review. Finally, here comes the either-or decision. Peerless is cheaper but they also look cheaper. All their products only provide plastic hose which our family doesn't like. We have one Waterpik handshower with plastic hose set in another bathroom. The plastic hose is so stiff and twists itself all the time when showering. It is so annoying to spend time re-rotating it. Bad experience. So, here comes Ana Bath. This combo shower set looks great with what we think high-end brushed nickel finish. The hose is made by stainless steel and it is so flexible that it never twists itself. The hose comes with the same finish of the other parts which makes the whole set much much prettier.
Finally, how does it function! Well, fantastic!! The normal spray is so smooth with good angle. The other sprays work good as well. The bubbling spray feels nice. You can see a lot of bubble staying on your body when switching to that function. The massage spray is really really strong. Really can relieve some pain, but don't over-expect it. It is totally different from having massage from human beings. But it does work. The handle of the handshower is perfect. Feel comfortable when holding it. The 3-way diverter looks the same as the other companies' product but a lot bigger. Looks better and stronger.
Some of my friends have already bought this shower and they are all very satisfied with their buying after having my suggestion and guide. Well, what should I say!! Buy one for yourself and enjoy the fabulous shower!!

Tanita BC554 Ironman Glass InnerScan Body Composition Monitor Elite Series

I've had mine for a couple of years with no problems. I find this Tanita useful in following the general trends of my various body changes. I like it enough that I bought another one as a gift for my father.

Salter 200 Academy Professional Mechanical Scale, White and Gray

All I want, when I step on the scale, is to get my weight, as accurately as possible. Don't need my body fat, don't need my bone density, don't want to have to put in batteries, don't need the day, date or my fortune, just my weight, within 1/2 a pound or so. Oh, and I have to be able to read the scale as well.
This product does just that. That's all it does, but it does it very well. Thank you, Salter.

Waterpik Power Spray Shower Head

If you've read Waterpik reviews on some of their other products, you might not want to buy their products. Common descriptions are "cheap", "plastic", and so on. I'd purchased this product before reading those reviews, and was pretty nervous about installing it. We were replacing our Hansgrohe showerhead, a very expensive and well made showerhead that started falling apart after 10 years.
Warning: my husband cut himself on the sharp plastic packaging, so be careful. That was the worst of it, though, because the showerhead took all of 5 minutes to install. All you need is a plumbing wrench. You don't need any plumbing tape (like Hansgrohe), and it promised not to leak. I was pretty skeptical.
This showerhead was so much better than I'd expected. It doesn't drip at all, not at the base and not thru the unused shower holes. It has 7 settings (you have a choice of waterflows: high, medium and low) which are so much fun to switch around! The High and Medium waterflow settings gave us so much more power than our Hansgrohe showerhead that rinsing my long hair took seconds, compared to minutes with our old showerhead. This thing makes showering great.
The true test came when our waterbill arrived. I was expecting a higher waterbill since we're getting such powerful showers. But No! Even on high waterflow, our bill was lower than it was with our old showerhead. We're actually saving money because we don't need to spend so long in the shower.
Here is the thing: I paid less than $40 for the showerhead and you should too. Good luck!

Aquasana AQ-4100 Deluxe Shower Water Filter System with Adjustable Showerhead

My husband is allergic to chlorine, so a shower filter is an absolute necessity. We've probably tried every filter that the home supply stores carry -- and this one makes all of those look like toy equipment.
It's not that the filters you get at Home Depot don't work. They do; they're certainly an improvement over the hard water we have, not to mention clearing out the chlorine. The thing is, they don't last long. The filters don't last three months, and we've never had the gizmo itself survive for more than a year. Usually, they broke in a dramatic manner, spraying the entire bathroom as they cracked with a loud bang. Depending on the design, they were also awkward to install, especially if you have a non-mundane shower head.
We've had the Aquasana for six months, and I've just bought the first replacement filter for it. This is definitely a significant improvement over those "basic" filters, and it's worth the extra money. The filtering is MUCH better -- I can tell the difference in that "I just feel cleaner" way -- and the filter lasts twice as long. It wasn't a bad installation, either. If you go to the company's Web site, you can also sign up for the filters to be auto-shipped to you, which is a distinct time savings.
Yes, this one costs a little more than the "basic" units you'll find at Lowe's or Home Depot. And it's definitely worth the expense.
