Just got our desk delivered and put together last night. It looks great and assembles into a pretty solid piece of furniture that is very functional! This is a great product from Bell'O.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was how disappointed I was in the packaging. It was packaged very soundly and arrived in good shape, but everything was stuffed and packed around non-recyclable styrofoam board that sent statically charged pellets all over the room. Since I cannot recycle any of this, it will take me weeks of garbage service to get rid of all of it.

This is the coolest looking desk I could find for my teenage son- and I was happy with the price. However, I can't stress enough how much of a pain the assembly turned out to be. It arrives in 2 boxes which are both VERY heavy- if you live alone and/or have any amount of difficulty with lifting- do not even attempt it. In the pictures, I thought it looked as if the drawers were metal- they are heavy MDF painted to look like metal. That was okay- no biggie- but every single part requires assembly... lots and lots of screws and parts. The parts are all numbered- which makes it easier- just keep all of the screws and bolts in their baggies with the numbers on them. They give you a small screwdriver and a hex key- but I really reccommend having a drill handy if you can. My hands were sore from the little screwdriver after only 2 drawers. Once I got the drill out- things went much more smoothly. Everything went pretty well until the assembly of the small drawer on the left side of the desk. If you buy this desk- be very careful about how you put together the bottom of that drawer box- I had to completely undo and re-do it twice. It has two brackets which attach on the bottom to link it to the metal frame and one of those holes was not tapped- so we had to hammer the screw into the hole. It will work fine- but I think it just shows that manufacturing quality might be slightly lacking. The instructions are very basic and don't show details enough to have prevented me from putting that bottom piece on the wrong way the first time. Overall, the design aesthetic for the money is excellent- the assembly may give you a headache- but my son says "tell them I love my desk". So, there you have it.

I ordered this desk, but instead of Chocolate, it came in Espresso which is almost black. I was very happy that it came to be like that because it looks even better than the one in the picture. Everything went together well. All of the parts were there, and there was no shipping damage. It works better if this is being put together by one person to put the desk on the lower base first. Then add the upper cabinets. It makes a good desk for a computer.

All the parts clearly marked the packing is hard to beat. the boxes were well beaten in shipping , but packing was well up for the task. the desk is soild and not wobbly like most diy. I looked hard when I needed a desk and with only 1 review I know it was a long shot, but turn out good. if you are looking for a great desk you found it

Super Storage Computer Desk in Chocolate Finish. I searched diligently for a nice desk under $200 locally and online. I was getting frustrated because there seem not to be a lot of choices , and some where just not that attractive. This desk caught my eye on another website but I waited a day to buy it because a lot of reviewers were complaining on how difficult the assembly was with the desk. It seemed like most people thought it was a very nice desk so I went ahead and ordered it. I received it rather quickly and shipping was free which was a plus.

I am going to agree and say the assemble requires patience; however, it is not as difficult as some mentioned. It has a lot of small parts, mostly screws. I think the reason for this is that this is a very well designed desk. I am in the middle of the pack as far as being handy, and I was able to handle it without much trouble. It did take me about 7 hours to put it together but I paced my self to make sure I did not mess up. Some people might cry at that amount of time but the end result is well worth it .

Now on to the desk itself...The wood on it feels like real wood , not like the cheap stuff you get at Walmart. It feels very sturdy not wobbly like some other furniture you sometimes buys. The designed is great in that you have a cabinet for your pc tower to hide it and you have filing cabinet and 2 drawers. I like the fact that you have some counter space between the your cabinets and top part of desk. It works great for little stuff like Ipods, etc. The desk is heavy so here is a tip... BUY MOVING MEN SLIDERS AND PUT ON THE LEGS TO MAKE IT EASY TO MOVE IT. I bought some at Target that stay on and they blend in very nice with the desk.

So in conclusion , yes I wish the desk assembly was less time consuming but the end result will make you forget about it. You can either buy an easy to assemble desk that you might find from Walmart and then you are not sure if you like it, or you can suffer a little bit putting it together and be in love with your new work station . I would buy this again. Hope it helps someone :)

This desk is perfect for my room, very sturdy also. The frosted bottom of the glass gives it a great look.
My only issue with this desk (but hardly deserving of 4 stars) is the assembly. While the concept of assembling it is very easy, the screws going into holes is not. The corner piece was a little bit of a pain to attach to the left and right side of the desk and not being lined up perfectly. I had to adjust a few things. Like put flat washers here and there to make the glass level with each other. Other than my assembly frustration, definitely the best desk I have seen around and great for value.

Sometimes you look at the product images and wonder if it really looks like how it does in the picture. I can tell you that it looks exactly how it's pictured. Black corner desk with no drawers. Looks very clean and simple. I had one corner in my living room that was so lonely that sometimes at night I could hear my walls crying.

If you have put anything together of like furnitures like desks, stands, and bookcases, this will be very easy to setup. It look me less than an hour to put it together. Would have been much faster if my wife wasn't watching the Black Swan on DVD. If you saw the movie, you'd know why I was a little distracted. =)

This thing is about 70~80 pounds so if you haven't hit the gym lately, you might want a strong man or a strong woman to help you put this together. All of the pieces are pretty light except for the top of the desk. It's quite heavy. Amazon has the best price so buying from here was a given.

I love this desk. I thought it was dark brown from the picture, but it's actually black. It only took me about an hour and a half to put it together alone. The pieces fit together well and it's much more sturdy than the do-it-yourself one my husband broke and replaced with this one. It looks more expensive than what I paid for it.

I received this desk a couple days ago. Unlike most orders, I never received a 'shipped' notification, so I was very surprised when returning home from work to see the box sitting on my porch. This is not a complaint.

I will note the the item is heavy, and not very easy to move by one person. I opened it outside, and brought the pieces in individually. I've seen in several reviews that the assembly of this desk is complicated. I disagree. Everything is labeled clearly. The instructions are all diagrams which are very easy to follow. If you're an organized person, this is not a difficult task, but does require about four hours to complete. You could use a helper at times, but I managed quite easily on my own.

I feel the quality of the desk is very good. Alignment of the drawers is accomplished quite easily in a minimum of time. The desk certainly fulfills my need, and the purchase was a great value.

Bush Signature Vantage Collection Corner Desk, Black. Thankfully I read reviews before assembling this Bush Vantage Computer Desk. I bought this unit on sale and feel I got a very good deal. One previous reviewer stressed carefully following the detailed instructions. Pay careful attention to which holes you must screw so that the drawers operate property. It took me at least 6 hours to assemble, however, I am very pleased with the outcome.
