The package I received it in was quite damaged, so I was afraid that there will be scratches all over the set, but luckily there were only a few scratches on the bottom shelf.
The assembly instructions were quite clear and all required tools were provided.
It took me about 30 mins to put this thing together. Looks great. The only complaint that I have is that this is advertised as a tv stand for 46" TVs but is only 42" in width. My 46" Samsung TV fits edge to edge. I would have liked some space at the sides to place speakers.
So if you have a 40" TV, this stand would be a great fit.
All in all, a good looking and sturdy stand to keep my expensive TV on.
